Mitch lives with wife, Jeanne in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They have two children and four grandchildren. Their home is filled with pets and plants. The hallway to his recording studio has been transformed into a fine art gallery, displaying paintings and drawings, all gifts created with carefree delight from his grandchildren. The "Great Art Exchange" is an on going pleasure between "Pops"(Mitch) and the grandkids sending paintings and other creations back and forth. "I love seeing the art gallery before entering my creative space, it keeps me ever mindful to respect my inner child and allow that part of me to come out and play."
